Vanilla Cupcakes Recipe – Homemade, Moist & Fluffy

Whenever I have spare time I love to make cupcakes. I tried so many recipes and the best which comes out perfectly is a vanilla cupcake.

These homemade cupcakes are very easy to make and perfectly moist and tasty. These cupcakes are velvety in texture. Light fluffy cupcakes with tasty and yummy creamy vanilla frosting make it super delicious.

Making this ultimate sweet treat is very simple and it can be prepared in just 15 minutes. Isn’t that amazing?

You can add this to the main course of your parties as this dessert will be loved by not only kids but also adults and your party will be hit.

Ingredients for vanilla cupcakes

  • All-purpose flour -1 1/4 cups
  • Baking powder – 1 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Unsalted butter – 6 tbsp
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Large eggs 2
  • Milk – 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp

Frosting Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter1 cup
  • Powdered sugar 4 cups
  • Vanilla extract 1 ½ tsp
  • Milk 2–3 tbsp
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the microwave oven at the temperature of 350°F (176°C).
  • Take a big bowl and add all-purpose flour salt and baking powder and mix it.
  • Take a big bowl and oil, butter, vanilla extract, and sugar and beat for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • When the batter becomes fluffy and slight changes in color add eggs one by one and mix.
  • Do scrape down the bowl sides. It needs to be sure that all the ingredients added till noware well combined.
  • Add half portion of dry ingredients and mix till ingredients are combined.
  • Add milk and mix nicely. If you find batter curdled, don’t worry that’s ok.
  • Add remaining flour mixture and mix till the batter becomes smooth. Do keep in mind the batter should not be over-mixed.
  • arrange cupcake liners in a baking sheet and pour ¾ portion of the cupcake liner and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes of baking takeout and check with a toothpick.
  • insert it and check if a toothpick comes out clean, your tasty vanilla cupcake is baked nicely. Keep it aside to cool down.
  • Take a bowl and add butter and beat till smooth.
  • Now add half of the sugar and mix it well.
  • Take vanilla extract, salt, and 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and mix.
  • Mix it nicely so that all ingredients combine well.
  • Add remaining sugar powder and mix.
  • If you feel it’s too thick then add a little bit of milk and mix it again to the right consistency.
  • Fill this mixture into a plastic bag and add icing onto the tasty vanilla cupcake.
