Six Steps To Make Recipe
- Peel Russet potatoes along with ordinary potatoes. And cut them into pieces of four.
- Now, set them in an instant pot and pour two cups of water onto them.
- Then, cover the pot with a lid and allow it to cool for ten minutes on high pressure. But, make sure you turn the venting knob to ‘Sealing.’
- After ten minutes, rotate the knob to the venting position. It releases pressure quickly. Also, make sure that you allow the steam to unleash properly. And the valve is down before you open the pot. Now move to the step of mashing potatoes using a potato masher.
- In the last step, pour butter and ½ cup of milk in them. And don’t forget to add salt as per your taste preferences. You can add more milk to obtain adequate consistency.
- Serve them hot in a hot bowl with some bread. Enjoy!

- To make potatoes creamier, add heavy cream or cream cheese.
- You can also add chicken and vegetable stock for intense flavor.
