Ingredients
- Beef steak 12 oz
- Potatoes 16 oz
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- fresh thyme – 5 sprigs
- Butter 1 1/2 tablespoons (divided)
- Minced garlic -1/2 tablespoon
- Soy sauce -1 1/2 tablespoons
- Cooking oil
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Take beef and cut into thick cubes of 1 inch.
- Now add a little bit black pepper and salt around 1/4 teaspoon in it and mix it.
- Now wash potatoes and peel it and cut into thick cubes around ¾ inches thick.
- Place a pan, add oil and coat the pan.
- Now add cubed potatoes and cook it. Let the potatoes remain undisturbed till the bottom of the potatoes start to brown in color.
- Now add fresh thyme sprigs.
- Add black pepper and salt around 1/4 teaspoon to it and stir.
- You have to cook potatoes till it gets tender.
- When potatoes turn tender, switch off the flame and transfer potatoes to a plate. keep it aside.
- Again switch on the flame again and keep it to medium-high.
- Now if you feel that oil is less then add a little bit more.
- Now add cubes of beef and cook it undisturbed for around 45 seconds.
- When beef starts developing colors flip and cook the other side undisturbed for 30 seconds.
- Now add butter around ½ tablespoons.
- Add minced garlic and stir.
- After a few seconds when the garlic starts fragmenting add cooked potatoes and stir.
- Now simmer the flame slightly and add butter around 1 tablespoon and soy sauce around 1 1/2 tablespoons and stir it nicely.
- When the mixture gets coated with soy sauce and food gets cooked switch off the flame.
- Now add chopped parsley for seasoning and your tasty garlic steak bites is ready to serve.

- For making this dish you heavy bottom pan.
- Your dish may take a little bit more time as it depends on the stovetop.
- If you want to scale up the quantity you can double the ingredients. When you are making dishes in high quantity try to avoid overcrowding the heavy bottom pan.
