So, I am here to tell you the recipe for making creamy Bacon and Mushroom pasta at your home. Anyone can try this simple and easy recipe without hesitation. You need not have to be a great cook to try it out, just follow a few simple instructions and this delicious pasta will be ready within minutes.
It can be served in the main course and it is something which everyone will prefer on the weeknights. A hungry stomach will not let you work any further.
My granny always prepare this for lunch and dinner, my whole family enjoy this pasta at dinner table together, kids and everyone enjoy as they are tasty and delicious and can be cooked with normal kitchen utensils.
Types of Equipment used for preparing Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Pasta:

This equipment is enough to prepare the delicious creamy Bacon and Mushroom pasta at your home. In about half an hour, the pasta will be ready to be served.
Ingredients required for making creamy bacon and mushroom pasta at home:
- 8 Ounces of uncooked pasta
- Take bacon, cut it into six small pieces
- 7 ounces of cremini mushrooms, should be sliced
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- ⅓ cup of chicken broth or dry white wine
- ¼ small spoon of Italian seasoning
- 1 small spoon of lemon juice
- 1 small spoon of flour
- ½ small spoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- Salt and pepper
- Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley
Instructions to be followed for making creamy bacon and mushroom pasta at home:
- Start boiling a pot of salted water to cook the pasta. Follow the instructions given on the packet of pasta and cook it accordingly.
- When the pasta is being boiled, cut the bacon and add it to the skillet. Now, fry the bacon until it becomes crispy. When it is done, transfer it to a paper towel and leave the bacon fat in the pan.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook them properly for 5-6 mins or until they release the water and it’s been cooked off.
- Now, for the 30 second, its time for you to stir the garlic and time to cook.
- Take mushrooms out of the pan and keep it with the bacon.
- Add the broth, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, flour, and Dijon mustard to the pan and stir it properly. Cook it only for a minute or else it will be overcooked.
- Add the cream and let it simmer for about 2 mins.
- Now, add the mushrooms and the bacon into the skillet and let it heat for a few minutes until it gets slightly thickened. Pour the pasta, add it to the cooking pot and toss it. Season with salt and pepper as needed, and then serve the pasta with parmesan cheese and parsley.
