Ingredients

  • Peeled and de veined shrimps – 6 oz
  • Mayonnaise -3 tablespoons
  • Melted butter – 3 tablespoons
  • Grated garlic -1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Thinly sliced scallions – 1 1/2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper
  • Ciabatta or baguette
  • Basil, chiffonier

Instructions

  • First preheat the microwave oven to a temperature around400F.
  • Now chop shrimp into small pieces with a knife. You can use a food chopper to chop shrimp. Keep in mind you have to chop and don’t have to make a paste.
  • Now in a bowl add chopped shrimps.
  • Add melted butter, mayonnaise, scallions, grated garlic, and black pepper. Add a generous amount of it.
  • Now slice half horizontally baguette or ciabatta into thin slices. Remember it should be 1 inch thick, not more than that.
  • Place cut pieces on a baking dish.
  • Now take a spoon and on the bread, cut side, spread shrimp mixture.
  • Now place it in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes.
  • When the top of the shrimp toast becomes crispy and golden, switch off the oven.
  • Now take out the baking dish and sprinkle chopped basil.
  • Your tasty baked shrimp toast is ready to enjoy. Serve it to your family and friends and get lots of appraisals.

Tips

  • If you want to make more you can double the quantity. With the number of ingredients mentioned, you can make around 10 to 15 slices.
  • If you love to have cheese on every dish then you can add cheese in place of butter. If you want both you can add cheese on the top and bake.
  • You can use mozzarella or Parmesan or any other type of cheese.
