Ingredients required for making blueberry muffins:

  2. Take a big bowl and add the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder to the bowl and whisk it properly and combine everything.
  3. Now, add the blueberries and lemon zest and stir them gently in the mixture of the flour. This is an important step as it will not allow the blueberries to prevent bleeding and also they will not sink at the bottom when the muffins are getting baked.
  4. Now, measure the milk into a 2 cup size liquid measuring cup.
  5. Egg, vegetable oil, vanilla – add all these 3 together and whisk them.

  7. Put the batter into the 12 muffin cups, filling them about ⅔ to ¾. This mixture is enough to make 12 to 16 muffins.

  9. Bake the muffins for 20 mins at 375F degrees and check that the top becomes lightly golden. Insert a toothpick into the muffin and if it comes out clean, stop baking and your muffins are ready to be served.
